(November 1, 2015) Matt Kressy, director of MIT Integrated Design & Management (IDM), has announced the appointment of Melissa Parrillo as IDM’s program administrator. In this role, Parrillo will oversee and manage IDM’s strategy, daily operations, and communications projects, as well as support and advise IDM students.
“IDM is very, very fortunate that Melissa will be working with us in this new capacity,” said Kressy. “She has a proven track record of working with students, faculty, and staff, and will continue to make a strategic impact on a much larger scale.”
Parrillo joined IDM as program administrator after working for MIT System Design & Management (SDM) in digital marketing and analytics, branding, and alumni relations. She came to MIT SDM in 2010 after working as a marketing campaign producer at Allen & Gerritsen. Previously, she served as assistant to the chair of the marketing communication department at Emerson College.
“IDM is a groundbreaking initiative that is important to design education and the world at-large,” said Parrillo. “I am honored to be a part of IDM and to work so closely with our faculty and students.”
