High (≥37 credits)
$31,400 per term
Medium (≥16 but ≤36 credits)
$21,000 per term
Low (≤15 credits)
$12,800 per term
Mandatory health insurance

Student life fee
$203 per term — This helps fund student clubs, organizations, and the sports and fitness center. This fee covers your unlimited access to the gym, fitness classes, student organization events, and trips.

* Tuition for the forthcoming academic year is set each April by the MIT Corporation based on a recommendation from Academic Council.

IDM students who complete their thesis early or withdraw during the term may qualify for tuition proration.
