Nikita’s social conscience drives her strong desire to address challenges facing women and children in protecting their own physical safety. As a Bachelor of Technology student in her home country of India, Nikita focused her vision on the market potential for unconventional application of textiles. She researched and helped develop ways to manufacture garments that would sense, or even resist, an assault. Nikita has valued MITidm for its role in her advanced education while she continues to enhance and refine the ideas for consumer products she is passionate about.
