“I believe human-centered design is key to enabling solutions that serve our societal needs by giving people a voice.”

Working in the public sector brings to light serious challenges that Allie saw and experienced every day as a management consultant. She identified an opportunity to break down these barriers through a human-centered, problem solving approach that focuses on the people served, partnerships, and co-creation. At MIT, Allie studied human-centered design with a focus in design research, sustainability, mindfulness, and leadership. Combining this with her background in systems thinking, she looks forward to continuing the work she loves: lifting up voices and designing solutions to meet the needs of the people. Allie has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia with a minor in Science and Technology Policy.
