Jillian brings a strong international background to the MITidm program. Following an undergraduate career in the Philippines and Japan, as well as an intensive year-long immersion program at China’s Peking University, Jillian helped launch the Beijing office of the Michael Page consulting firm. Later on, she worked as a marketing and branding consultant in the metro Manila area. Representing the next generation of her family’s retail businesses, Jillian aims to drive sustainable product innovation and harness the untapped potential of the raw materials available in her home county. In addition to English, Jillian speaks Chinese, Filipino, Hokkien, and Japanese. Jillian received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Philippines, in 2008, majoring in Communications Technology and minoring in Japanese Studies.
