“Here, I am understood, nurtured, and pushed to create an ecosystem that allows new plausible relationships to money, work, and others to emerge.”

She has a passion for promoting feminist values, but Kritisha’s advertising research in her native India revealed that rebranding feminism under the current social, political and economic order would require disrupting the status quo. If female-centered products meeting the basic criteria of feminism do not exist, then Kritisha could design and develop them herself. Joining the MITidm program is an opportunity to learn and push her professional skills to the limit to create a world actively focused on establishing economic independence for the oppressed. Kritisha has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Anthropology, and Sociology from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and a professional diploma in art and design from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology.
