“I see an urgent need for innovative yet empathetic services to produce meaningful endeavors, and MITidm has given me the tools to confront the unique challenges of our future.”

Sharon strives to become a leader who embraces the future with both creative boldness and critical skepticism. Both her professional and extracurricular experiences have provided valuable perspectives on that path. As a corporate consultant, Sharon has managed projects that successfully fuse the powers of business, design and technology. As a hobbyist hacker, she has learned the importance of a human-centric approach in applying design principles to solve a challenge. Sharon is drawn to the MITidm program because it celebrates the process of creation and investigation, and genuinely acknowledges the symbiotic relationship between the designer and the user. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History from Columbia University.
