How can you not ask: in a multi-disciplinary program such as IDM, which group of students has the biggest challenge adapting? One member of the leadership team, who prefers to remain anonymous, explains that he (or she) believes that business people struggle with some of the design processes. “Keeping an open mind, not narrowing down to one solution too quickly can be very difficult to people with business backgrounds.  Engineers as well, but I see it more with the business folks who are maybe driving the timeline of a project versus being comfortable hanging out a bit to try a bunch of things. I see discomfort with that, with the ambiguity. But, hey, that’s what we’re here to teach. Right?
