“In a world of rapid change, one of the most essential abilities to have is adaptability . . . which can equip us well to confront the most significant difficulties of our century.”

Personal experience with ineffective systems in the developing world has raised Michelle’s awareness of the need for affordable and accessible user-centered solutions. She also recognizes that the most effective strategies, products, and services can be created by working side by side with the communities in need. But while she’s familiar with the human side of product design, Michelle has been working to build on her engineering and business skills to create higher caliber interventions. She’s confident her MITidm experience will help her reach her goal to address complex global challenges through multidisciplinary innovation, bridging problem-solving and social impact. Michelle has a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute.
