“In an age of change, it is crucial that humanity advances quickly, yet carefully. Empathy should be at the core of our advancements.”

Everyday interactions subconsciously shape our perception and behavior, and Bam believes that redesigning these experiences for children can create meaningful and long-lasting impact. Aspiring to empower the younger generation to become better global citizens, she is interested in exploring how we might foster empathy through the design of products, services, and the built environment. By leveraging her experiences as a design engineer, entrepreneur, and math teacher, she wants to invent creative solutions to systematic problems at the intersection of the sustainability and education sectors. Bam has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
