“As technology advances, we face the threat of ever-increasing inequality. I want to dedicate my life to bringing hope to all the people across the globe who aspire to have a better future.”

Nelson began his career right after college in the world of finance, and has valued the opportunity to create commercial banking products that help people access the tools they need to pursue their dreams. That is how he came to the realization that most challenges in society are related to barriers to personal advancement. Nelson plans to expand his vision beyond the financial sector and develop products — “ladders” — that ultimately address all areas of upward socioeconomic mobility. A better future for those in poverty, he believes, is possible when education, professional development, and a chance at entrepreneurship can successfully tackle inequality, such as what he’s seen in his native Dominican Republic. Nelson graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
