Jasmine’s fascination with and commitment to advancing a healthy planet began in her hometown in southern China then continued into her years of higher education, first as an undergraduate environmental studies major and later as an environmental management graduate student. Her professional career has taken her across continents to witness first-hand some of the most critical global environmental and humanitarian challenges. Jasmine’s work in the MITidm program has provided access to a state-of-the-art makerspace and nurtured her passion from ideas to viable products that will lead to more efficient, sustainable use of natural resources. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
