“MITidm has empowered me to reach my potential as an innovative leader and build a social enterprise that sustainably transforms how we produce, consume, and recycle food.”

Julia embraces designing for social impact. From advancing sustainable development to building social enterprises, she has collaborated with colleagues from around the world in tackling global challenges. Julia’s curiosity about complex systems, coupled with her aspirations to empower people and build effective organizations, led her to Deloitte Consulting, where she developed human capital strategies for multinational companies and universities and created new operating models through human-centered design. She dreams of a world where no one has to go without nutrition to fuel their day, and Julia is committed to transforming the food system to make it happen. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
